After one of the last Android updates the phone will stop allowing connection to the computer. The option for Charge only, mount as disk drive… do not show up as options when you plug in the phone to a Windows 7, Vista or XP system. This is a problem with Android OS and may show up on different manufactured systems ie HTC, Samsung, LG…

On a side note we’ve also had One way sync problems after the recent update on calendar events created on the phone. These events do not sync to the computer however, events created on the computer sync to the phone.

Remove the Exchange Account then ->

Settings, Application, Manage Applications, All – then find Calendar Storage select and clear data, also select calendar and then clear data.

Restart phone then readd exchange account.

We are testing this solution and will report back if it works or not.

They wanted to use www.ammyy.com for remote to my computer.

It was overious to me this wasn’t right because I manage many offices on many networks and thy couldn’t tell me which network, what the offending IP address was or they Microsoft Partner ID:. The tech was not smart and didn’t have basic skills for using the PC.

Each time I asked any question that mattered the “tech” would mute me and ask something else. You could hear the person in the back telling him his name, website, email address and other info.

While on the phone I contact CBI(colorado FBI) and they said there was a news story out about it and just hang up. They weren’t willing to take any information or do anything. No trace or anything even thought they were out of the Country.

I’m not sure why this isn’t terrorism?

They were going to charge me $210 because was out of my service contact with???

They start with having the user open eventviewer then tell you any errors are because of viruses and adware. When I asked which virus or adware they had detected I was infected with they just said it’s a “Virus adware and stuff” also keep repeating its in your browser…

Then he had me open “run” and type “INF Infected Files” which just opens C:\windows\inf

He then said that the files there were infected and I need to open a website www.ammyy.com and they would remote in and show me more infected files.

I didn’t go any further and they weren’t willing to give me a MS Partner ID and after I pushed they hungup. Their intro is “Windows Tech Support”

Microsoft has changed the max file size download from WebDev to 50MB.
This change is to combat DoS attacks but is a critical change for large file users.

This applies to Vice Versa Pro, IE7, IE8, IE9, Windows 7 SP1 – 32-bit/64-bit, Windows Vista SP1 – Sp2, XP SP1. This was introducted in an update in July so yes we understand it use to work and now it doesn’t.

Also shows on Vista/XP as Cannot Copy FileName: Cannot read from the source file or disk.

DO NOT WORD WRAP IN EXCEL PIVOT TOOL on the Core Collumns or the entire pivot filtering will stop working.

Also on a side note when using Find and Replace the tool will delete out of your file names for image src there are a few middle collumns that can be edited without your knowing, also when you UNDO in Excel it DOES NOT undo Find & Replace on file names as far as I can tell.

At publish I had to manully fix 30 file names that had been modified by find replace.

When I published my latest test/demo collection I found that alot of my images were blurry and had problems. After alot of search I couldn’t find any solution other than the .DZI web.config missing.

After a night sleep and a long day at work, I gave up and used the AMAZING IE9 TOOLS by clicking F12 in IE9… Click on Network tab then Start Capturing…..

This is what I found.

Excel had not updated alot of the fields for the images after the last save. Some files were set to pull images at incorrect locations.

The amount of corruption excel has done I don’t think is fix able, I will copy and paste the data into a new excel.

Make sure you sniff the collection during load and usage before you waste your time! SILVERLIGHT PIVOT VIEWER EXCEL TOOL SUCKS AT TIMES!!!! Why can’t I use Infopath it’s made for this type of thing?

If you don’t have IE9 you’re missing out. These tools make trouble shooting web design and programming so much easier!
